| In order to reduce costs (which I would have to pass on to
my students) I do not maintain large, expensive premises in Oxford. My
teaching rooms are in a private house in north Oxford (Norham Rd.)
which are easily accessible from most parts of the city and beyond,
with parking within walking distance and an excellent bus service. I
work here between 9-30 am and about 9-30 pm. Although I used to
visit students in their homes I can no longer do this as the increased
volume of traffic - and the resulting delays - makes this
infeasible. I can also work from my home in Piddington (four miles east of Bicester). 'Local' students have come to me - either in Oxford or Bicester - from as far afield as Abingdon, Reading, Stoke Poges, Towcester and Witney. If you are travelling a long way I would recommend getting your money's worth by booking one double session per week (or fortnightly, if necessary) rather than two singles. |
