Amaxia osmophora
DISTRIBUTION: Central & South America.
TYPE LOCALITY: Costa Rica.
BELIZE RECORDS: Augustine; Las Cuevas.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: identified for me by Comte Hervé de Toulgoët.
Watson & Goodger (1986) regard this species as a subspecies of A. pardalis.
NOTES: this particular group of Amaxia appears to be very distinctive so
the identification is probably correct. Dissection would be needed for confirmation.
