TYPE LOCALITY: Peru, Brazil.
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook's Hill.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: identified for me by Comte Hervé de Toulgoët. I previously misidentified this species as 'Halysidota (s.l.) cyclozonata'.
NOTES: Watson & Goodger (1986) list this species under Halysidota s.l.
