Bertholdia albipuncta(?)

DISTRIBUTION: Mexico to Brazil.
TYPE LOCALITY: Venezuela.
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook's Hill; Greenhills; Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated by Travassos (1948) figs 14 & 15. Also illustrated by Seitz (1925) pl. 44, fig. a6, and by Druce (1884) pl. 75, fig. 16.
NOTES: Travassos' review of this genus is quite comprehensive and his figures match my specimens well. However, de Toulgoët identified this species as Bertholdia detracta Seitz. I am therefore uncertain as to its correct identity.
