DISTRIBUTION: South (and Central?) America.
BELIZE RECORDS: La Milpa (Norman Hall record).
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: identified by Norman Hall. Illustrated in black and white by Watson (1971) pl. 18 fig. c (adult) and pl. 109, figs. a & b (male genitalia)
NOTES: there are a number of very similar species in this genus, which probably needs revision. This identification therefore needs confirmation.
