Halysidota interlineata

DISTRIBUTION: Guatemala to Uruguay.
TYPE LOCATION: Brazil.
BELIZE RECORDS: Maya Beach; Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult and male genitalia illustrated by Watson (1980) figs. 46, 92 & 93.
NOTES: this is the only Halysidota species listed by Watson (1980) in his review of the genus as occurring specifically in Belize. I have not dissected my specimens yet to confirm this identification but the species is fairly distinctive.
