TYPE LOCALITY: Panama.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook's Hill; La Milpa.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult and female genitalia illustrated by Watson (1975) pl. 9, figs. 55-57. Adult illustrated by Druce (1884) plate 9, fig. 1.
NOTES: known in the literature only from the female Type specimen from Bugaba, Panama. The amount of black on the forewing apex varies considerably and some of my Belize specimens resemble O. rutila Stoll more closely than they do O. godmani
