TYPE LOCALITY: Mexico.
BELIZE RECORDS: Las Cuevas.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Druce (1884) pl. 8, fig. 27 ( as 'Automolis imitata').
NOTES: as there are a number of similar species in this genus, this identification needs confirmation.
