DISTRIBUTION: Guatemala to Bolivia; Trinidad.
TYPE LOCALITY: Venezuela.
BELIZE RECORDS: La Milpa.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult and male and female genitalia illustrated by Watson (1975) pl. 20, figs. 118-123.
NOTES: this identification requires confirmation by dissection as there are a number of similar species in this genus.
