Sychesia dryas

DISTRIBUTION: C. & S. America.
TYPE LOCALITY: 'Antilles' (seems unlikely).
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook's Hill.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison of facies with specimens in my collection from French Guyana identified as this species by Jeannot Cerda. Also illustrated in black and white by Hampson (1901) p. 106, text fig. 79.
NOTES: Pat Haynes gives his specimens from Pook's Hill the name Sychesia erubescens Jordan; I am therefore not totally certain of the identity of my specimens from Belize.
