DISTRIBUTION: northern South America; Central America; Antilles.
TYPE LOCALITY: 'West Indies'.
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook's Hill; La Milpa.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult and genitalia illustrated by Davis (1964) figs. 54-57 (adult) 288 & 311 (male and female genitalia).
NOTES: this appears to be a distinctive species and the identification seems to be sound.
