TYPE LOCALITY: n/a.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison with species in my West Indies collection identified as Semyra coarctata Walker 1855 by specialists at the United States National Museum. S. coarctata has a range which includes Honduras, according to Heppner (1995), so this may be the same species.
