DISTRIBUTION: northern S. America to Mexico; Antilles.
TYPE LOCALITY: Mexico.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook’s Hill.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: illustrated in colour by d`Abrera (1986) p. 103 and Hodges (1971) plate 10, fig. 8.
NOTES: Very similar to C. parce Fab., but appears to have considerably more falcate forewing apices.
