Xylophanes chiron

DISTRIBUTION: Argentina to Mexico; Antilles, in a variety of subspecies.
TYPE LOCALITY: Jamaica.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: illustrated in colour by d'Abrera (1986) p. 175.
NOTES: there is also a brown form of this species, although I do not know whether it is found in Belize.
