Episcepsis thetis

DISTRIBUTION: S. & C. America.
TYPE LOCALITY: unknown to me.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook's Hill; Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: forewing apices (usually) white; spots on vertex crimson; fore-coxae white. The adult is illustrated in colour by Seitz, plate 20 fig. b5.
NOTES: This identification is subject to confirmation by genitalial dissection. This is a difficult genus with many very similar species.
