Chetone angulosa

DISTRIBUTION: (species) C. America & northern S. America; (form angulosa) Central America.
TYPE LOCALITY: (species) Venezuela; (subspecies) Guatemala.
BELIZE RECORDS: Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Seitz (1925) pl. 62, fig. b2 (form angulosa) and pl. 62, fig. b3 (form heliconides).
NOTES: this seems to be a very distinctive species, although the identification requires confirmation.
