TYPE LOCALITY: Durango, Mexico.
BELIZE RECORDS: Lamanai.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Druce (1884) pl. 78, fig. 4.
NOTES: this identification is very tentative; there are many, very similar, species in this genus which may turn out to be synonyms when the genus is revised.
