TYPE LOCALITY: Panama.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in black and white and described by Hampson (1900) page 518, text figure 370. Adult illustrated in colour by Druce (1884) plate 13, fig. 4 and by Seitz (1925) plate 33, figs. h1 and h2.
NOTES: My specimen seems a little small and may be a related species.
