BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook's Hill; Augustine; La Milpa.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Seitz (1925) pl. 63, figs. e3 & e4.
NOTES: this appears to be a quite distinctive species although the identification requires confirmation. There is pronounced sexual dimorphism, as illustrated.
