Dysschema leucophaea(?)

DISTRIBUTION: Central America.
TYPE LOCALITY: Mexico.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; La Milpa; Lamanai; Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Seitz (1925) pl. 63, figs. b3 (male) and b4 (female).
NOTES: This seems to be a very distinctive species, although the identification requires confirmation. The female (of which I took no specimens) is considerably larger than the male illustrated here and completely devoid of forewing markings.
