TYPE LOCALITY: Costa Rica, Mexico (syntypes).
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook's Hill (Pat Haynes record).
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: illustrated in colour by Seitz (1925) pl.65 fig. b3.
NOTES: this appears to be a characteristic species whose identity is not in great doubt.
