Hyalurga sora
DISTRIBUTION: Central America.
TYPE LOCALITY: Guatemala.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook's Hill; La Milpa; Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Seitz (1925) pl. 65, fig. d5.
NOTES: this seems to be a very distinctive species, although the
identification requires confirmation. The female - illustrated by Seitz (1925) on
pl. 65, fig. d6 - is considerably larger than the male illustrated here and rather
darker in the hyaline wing areas, with less yellow on the wings.
