DISTRIBUTION: Central America.
TYPE LOCALITY: Panama.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills (one specimen only).
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Watson & Goodger (1986) fig. 16 and by Seitz (1925) pl. 61, fig. g2.
NOTES: This seems to be a very distinctive species, although the identification requires confirmation.
