DISTRIBUTION: S. & C. America; Antilles; southern USA.
TYPE LOCALITY: Brazil.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison with specimens in my collection from Jamaica and the Lesser Antilles identified by Fred Rindge as this species. See also the paper by Rindge (1950) on this species. Adult illustrated by Herbulot in Lalanne-Cassou et al. (Internet).
NOTES: I am reasonably confident about this identification.
