DISTRIBUTION: Mexico to Paraguay.
TYPE LOCALITY: 'North Queensland' (!) - probably Paraguay.
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook’s Hill; La Milpa.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult and genitalia illustrated by Poole (1987) on figs. 103, 104 (adult), and 535 & 957 (genitalia).
NOTES: This genus has been revised by Poole (1987). The adult of this species is quite characteristic and I have not dissected and examined genitalia.
