TYPE LOCALITY: Venezuela.
BELIZE RECORDS: Augustine; Lamanai.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult and genitalia illustrated by Poole (1987), figs. 23, 24 (adults) and figs. 454 & 926 (male and female genitalia).
NOTES: to separate this species from P. afuera needs dissection.
