DISTRIBUTION: Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Mexico, Belize.
TYPE LOCALITY: Chiapas, Mexico.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult and genitalia described and illustrated by Rindge
(1978) figs. 74,75 (adult) and 80,88 (male and female genitalia), who revises
the entire genus.
NOTES: this identification is certain - my female specimen matches both in appearance
of adult and
of dissected genitalia with Rindge's (1978) illustrations of loba.
