Megastes grandalis

DISTRIBUTION: Central and South America; Antilles.
TYPE LOCALITY: Brazil.
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook's Hill.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison with specimens in my collection from the West Indies identified as Megastes grandalis. Also identified as this species by Norman Hall from specimens in the Natural History Museum, London.
