DISTRIBUTION: South and Central America; Antilles; Orient.
TYPE LOCALITY: 'East Indies'.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Lamanai.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison with specimens in my collection from the West Indies identified as this species by Dr. Eugene Munroe of Ottawa.
NOTES: this appears to be a characteristic species.
