Perigonia lusca

(Scroll down for three forms of this species)

Type locality: Central America.

Grenadines records: Union (Daudin, Dec. 1984); Bequia, Frigate (E.U. Exp.).
Method of identification: illustrated in colour by d'Abrera (1986) p. 105.
Notes: I am not sure how to distinguish this species from the allegedly closely related species P. lefebraei Lucas 1856 which has been recorded from St. Lucia; Guadeloupe; Martinique and Marie-Galante, as lusca is so variable. It may be that lefebraei - if it is valid - is also present in the Grenadines.
