Synonyms: Xanthodes amorata Barnes 1907.
E. Caribbean records: Grenadines only.
Grenadines records: Union (Daudin, Nov 1997); Bequia, Union, Petite Martinique (E.U. Exp., No 19).
Method of identification: illustrated in black and white by Hampson (1898) Pl. 17, fig. 2.
Notes: this genus is placed in the subfamily 'Bagisarinae' by Poole (1989. This species was misidentified as 'Athetis tristricta' by the Exeter University Expedition. This latter name does not appear to exist as a valid species name.
