Type locality: Jamaica.
Synonyms: Eucereon guacolda Hampson (1898) (part, nec Poey)
Source of record: Gowdey (1926) records this species (as E. guacolda Poey 1832, a related Cuban species).
Method of identification: illustrated in colour (poorly) in Poey (1832) pl. 14 and in Hampson (1914) pl. 19, fig. 19.
