Napata chalybea

Distribution: Cuba, Jamaica, (also Honduras, according to Forbes 1917).
Type locality: unknown to me.
Source of record: Hampson (1898) p. 409.
Method of identification: illustrated by Hubner (1825) on p. 14, figs. 439 and 440.
Notes: Like other Napata species this is a brilliant metallic blue; other members of the genus elsewhere fly by day and are generally rare in collections. The illustration here is from Seitz (1925) plate 21, row d., fig. 5.
