Pseudocharis minima
Distribution: southern USA; Cuba; Jamaica (?).
Type locality: Cuba
Synonyms: Pseudomya minima.
Source of record: I base this record on the above photograph of a
specimen in the IOJ sent to me by Tom Turner.
Method of identification: Julian Donahue (pers. comm.)
opined that the photograph resembled specimens in the Los Angeles County
Museum collection of Ps. minima from Florida, but the spots on the Jamaican
specimen appeared larger than their minima. He also mentioned Ps. splendens
Druce 1889 from the Bahamas and Ps. bartschi Schaus 1928 (no locality given)
whose "spots are larger than in minima, no white on palpi".
