Syntomidopsis variegata

Distribution: Jamaica only.
Type locality: Jamaica.

Method of identification: illustrated in colour by Seitz (1925) plate 66, fig. a 6 (modified image used here).
Notes: this species shows some sexual dimorphism, although the two sexes are similar. Photograph kindly supplied by Dr. Tom Turner of a specimen in the Institute of Jamaica collection.
