Type locality: undescribed species.
Source of record: M.J.C.B. collection; A.M.N.H. collection.
Method of identification: genitalia and facies differ notably from any species illustrated in Scoble (1990).
Notes: this species is probably the one noted as M. rubedinaria from Jamaica by Scoble (1990). See notes under M. rubedinaria.
