Type locality: Venezuela.
Synonyms: Coerocampa moeschleri Erschoff 1876.
Source of record: Schreiber (1978) (as a 'stray').
Method of identification: illustrated in colour by d'Abrera (1986) p. 178.
Notes: this record seems most unlikely, given the normal range of the species.
