Epimecis detexta

Distribution: southern USA; Greater & Lesser Antilles.
Type locality: Jamaica; Dominican Republic.
Source of record: M.J.C.B. collection. Listed by Gowdey (1926) as 'Bronchelia detexta'.
Method of identification: my specimens kindly identified by Dr. Frederick Rindge of the American Museum of Natural History; use of the draft key of Forbes (1951); illustrated in colour by Herbulot in Lalanne-Cassou et al (internet) and by Kimball (1965) pl. 6, fig. 22.
