Distribution: Jamaica; Hispaniola.
Type locality: Jamaica.
Synonyms: Bronchelia jamaicaria Oberthur 1913;
Bronchelia nyctalemonaria Walker 1860;
Alcis scolopacea Westwood 1837.
Source of record: Type Locality is Jamaica.
Method of identification: my specimen kindly identified by Dr. Frederick Rindge of
the American Museum of Natural History (as 'E. jamaicaria'). This species
may be keyed out in the key by
Forbes (1951).
