Ophisma tropicalis

Distribution: tropical and subtropical America.
Type locality: Brazil; Cuba; Colombia.
Synonyms: Ophisma confudens Walker 1858; Ophisma detrahens Walker 1858; Ophisma fugiens Walker 1858; Ophisma luteiplaga Walker 1858; Ophisma stigmatifera Walker 1858; Ophisma morbillosa Felder & Rogenhofer 1874.

Notes: this species is immensely variable throughout its range. A few forms are illustrated.
