Type locality: Haiti.
Source of record: Gowdey (1926) (as 'Botys gastralis').
Method of identification: illustrated in black and white by Amsel (1956) pl. 95, figs. 4 & 5 (adult) and pl. 43, fig. 3 (genitalia).
