Synonyms: Botys pruinalis Lederer 1863.
Source of record: Listed by Gowdey (1926) (as 'Pilocrocis infuscalis').
Method of identification: illustrated in black and white by Amsel (1956) pl. 93, fig. 3 (adult) and pl. 39, fig. 1 (genitalia).
