Distribution: southern USA; South and Central America; Antilles.
Type locality: Cuba.
Synonyms: Rhodaria agathalis Waker 1859; Botys diffissa Grote & Robinson 1876; Botis bellulalis Hulst 1886; Syllthria idessa H. Druce 1895.
