Distribution: South and Central America; Antilles.
Type locality: Mexico.

Method of identification: illustrated in black and white by Amsel (1956) pl. 88, fig. 8 (adult) and pl. 30, fig. 3. My specimens also kindly identified by Dr. Eugene Munroe of Ottawa.
