Distribution: (species) southern USA; Central and South America; Antilles (subspecies)
Type locality: (species) Surinam (subspecies) Dominican Republic.
Synonyms: (species) Oxydia aromata Druce 1892; Oxydia vesuliata Guenee 1858;
(subspecies) Oxydia quadriagliata Herrich-Schaeffer 1870; Microgonia vesulia antilliana Prout 1932. .
