METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by Seitz (1925) pl. 141 fig. a3. My specimen resembles garleppi more closely than it does A. xanthapex Draudt, also illustrated by Seitz (1925) pl.141, fig. a2.
