Pamea parostia

DISTRIBUTION: unknown to me.
TYPE LOCALITY: unknown (question mark in Heppner (1996)).
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook's Hill.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: Pamea ostia is illustrated by Seitz (1925) plate 88, fig. g2. This is considerably larger than my specimen from Belize but Seitz notes the smaller species parostia in the text and I presume that this is what this species is.
NOTES: this 'identification' is very provisional.
