TYPE LOCALITY: Belize.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook’s Hill; La Milpa; Lamanai; Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: illustrated in colour by d’Abrera (1995) p. 121 and Druce (1884) plate 81, figs. 1 & 2.
NOTES: a very common species whose identification does not appear to be in any great doubt.
