TYPE LOCALITY: Oaxaca, Mexico.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook's Hill; Lamanai.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in colour by d'Abrera (1995) p. 77.
NOTES: the forewing terminal area seems darker in my specimens than in those illustrated by d'Abrera.
