SUBFAMILY DESCRIPTION
The Subfamily CERATOCAMPINAE is the most Hawk Moth-like subfamily of the Emperor moths, with long, relatively thin wings and stout bodies in proportion to their wing size.

BELIZE SPECIES
Meerman (1999) lists 18 species of Ceratocampinae from Belize in his comprehensive catalogue of species found in Belize to date. With his kind permission I list all of these species here and illustrate from other sources any species not in my collection. Please click on any underlined species names to go to a colour illustration of the adult (and sometimes its genitalia) where available, and brief information on the species.
